Exmoor National Park
Often described as beautiful and inspiring, Exmoor National Park is a fantastic place to explore, recharge and feel connected to nature. With a range of walking routes for differing ability levels, events and activities for families and it is even the perfect location for star gazing.
Exmoor is one of the UK best destinations for cycling whether on the roads or exploring the network of bridleways available. You can even stop by an explore the Tarr Steps which are always a popular stop and you might even come across the occasional wild goat! Or perhaps you’re looking for a more relaxing activity such as fishing, Exmoor has some great fish waters both fresh and salt.

Tropiquaria Zoo
Tropiquaria is in a unique setting on the edges of Exmoor and the Quantocks, close by the sea.
They are small zoo based in and around an old "Art Deco" BBC Radio Transmitter station. This Grade II Listed building houses our Reptile Hall, Nocturnal House and Aquarium. The grounds house our outdoor collection.
They are also an animal sanctuary and work closely with the RSPCA and other exotic wildlife organisations, to help rescue and rehome animals.
West Somerset Railway
West Somerset Railway is 20 miles of heritage railway taking you through the stunning Somerset countryside and coast. Throughout the year they run a wide range of events and experiences including family friendly favourites such as Santa Express, cream tea and even murder mystery events.
